Ahaaa! I love the smell of the KVK in the morning, (afternoon and evening too). After a week in Cape Hatteras, watching the Ocracoke Ferries passing all day, it’s good to be back in NY Harbor.
A quiet morning today, Wednesday, on the Kill, Tug Boats, as usual, and a New York State Naval Militia, “Military Emergency Boat Service” vessel. Never knew there was such a thing. Go into their website, they even have a March you can download.
NYS Naval Militia PB44 Class Patrol Boat, a Mooseboat MI44 Catamaran.
Vane Brothers tug “Red Hook” westbound in the KVK.
DonJon Marine tug “Meagan Ann”.
High Rise Tug, Dann Marine’s “Chesapeake Coast”.
Gateway Towing tug “Bridgeport”.
Nice colors on the Kimberly Poling.
And another Kimberly…Turecamo.
That’s it for this week, hoping for good photo weather for next week. All photos by John Skelson.
