Things are really starting to ramp up at Working Harbor Committee headquarters. WHC staff, board & steering committee members and dedicated volunteers have all been busy with final preparations for the 21st Annual Great North River Tugboat Race & Competition on Sunday, September 1st. [itinerary]

If you don’t have a tugboat of your own and you want to want to get right in the action on the water you can join us on the Circle Line 42 Spectator Boat – and be practically in the race!

And to make things even more exciting, the Spectator Boat will get up-to-the-minute reports during the race from Capt. John Doswell on the safety boat, ThunderReserve your seats today!
