This week’s been rainy, gloomy, and foggy; not the best conditions for photography, never the less, I was out shooting.

Also this week, NY Harbor had a visit from Houston Texas’ new fireboat #1, built in Ontario, heading for her new home. I did not get to photograph her, but saw her passing while on the FDR Drive Tuesday morning (you can’t get everything). If anyone did photograph her I would really like to see your shots.

Here are some of the highlights of the week.

Also the Noble Maritime Collection and Atlantic Salt are bringing the Ship of Tolerance to Staten Island Saturday, October 12 from 10am to 7pm. The Location is Lafayette Ave and Richmond Terrace, at the Salt Pile. From the ferry take the S40 or S44 bus to Lafayette Ave, it’s right at the bus stop.

Until next week…
