December 22, 2013, Left Coast Lifter sailed out of San Francisco, towed by two Foss Tugboats, passing through the Panama Canal and arrived in NY Harbor this cold January 30. She was brought to NY to work on the new Tappan Zee Bridge, and is currently berthed at Weeks Marine in New Jersey until the bridge project is ready for her.

This huge crane is almost 400 feet long with twin 328 foot booms and is capable of lifting 1,900 tons. LCL was towed by the Lauren Foss, assisted by Iver Foss on her long journey east. (Click images to enlarge.)
