Tuesday morning I arrived on the waterfront to see an unusual shape slowly moving towards me. I could see a RED boat that appeared to be towing a Crane Barge.

As it got closer I realized it was a launch from TowBoatUS… Sea Courageous, towing the barge. Definitely not the usual tug, she was moving very slowly against the tide. The information I found out was that she was headed out to sea and the Delaware River for somewhere in Pennsylvania.

Henry Marine’s Dorothy J was on the hip of the barge assisting in getting the tow out of the Kill van Kull.
