Bring on Summer! Photo by The Water Table via facebook

Last year, I posted about The Water Table, a then new floating restaurant aboard a renovated WWII-era patrol boat the Revolution.

A summer-time only venture, we bid a forlorn farewell in the late fall when the vessel packed up and departed winter in warmer waters, with promises to return in 2015 with more delectables.

: The Water Table, returns to the East River this Friday. The Revolution and her crew sets sail from India St. Pier in Greenpoint for their maiden voyage of the season this week, offering not only spectacular views of local bridges and waterfronts aboard a 1944 WW II Yard Patrol Boat, but also a delicious, three-course New England-style supper prepared on board.
