All of us at the Working Harbor Committee would like to say THANK YOU to all of YOU for helping make the 23rd Annual Great North River Tugboat Race & Competitions such an amazing and wonderful day!
A big shout-out to our Generous Sponsors who help us to continue this beloved tradition.
So much gratitude and thanks to all the Tug Companies, staff and crew for their contributions, participation and guidance – without your love and support, we wouldn’t be able to do this every year.
Thank you U.S Coast Guard for keeping us safe during the race! Semper Paratus! And a big thank you to all the vessels who come every year to celebrate with us!
Huge hugs and thanks to dozens of WHC volunteers who spent thousands of hours getting the whole event together and making sure things ran smoothly – well, as smoothly as possible LOL – from start to finish.
And to all of you who came out to cheer, THANK YOU for your support! (A special shout-out to the family who saw me on NY1 at 8 am and jumped out of bed, and made record time rushing over to get on the Spectator Boat!)
And last but not least, THANK YOU TO ALL harbor-wide, who gave Capt. John Doswell the most outstanding Ships Horn Tribute EVER! You know that blast could be heard where ever Capt. Doz is, fo’ sure.
From the exhausted but happy WHC HQ… THANK YOU!
