Just 7 more days until the 24th annual Great North River Tugboat Race and Competition!

September 4th, 2016, the festivities start at 10 am at Pier 84 on the Hudson River near 44th Street.

Tugboats will parade along the Great North River before the big race, showing off their colors.

You can watch the big show for free right on the pier, or for a close-up and exhilarating experience, join us on the WHC Spectator Boat and race alongside the tugs! Click for tickets here.

The spectator boat departs from the Circle Line Pier 83 (W.43 rd St./12 Ave.) at 9:30 am sharp. We’ll be in the best spot for the start of the Parade of Tugs.

You can also participate in our landside line-toss competition, or get in on our wildly popular Spinach-eating contest (we have both adult and kid divisions).
