A new art/music/fun installation has come to Brookfield Place in Battery Park City! Giant swing-sets that play music as you swing back and forth!

The brainchild of Montreal-based design firm Daily tous les jours, The Swings: An exercise in Musical Collaboration will grace the lower Manhattan waterfront through July 7th.

When in motion, each of the swings play different musical instruments  – harp, vibraphone, guitar, piano. They also light up at night.

So, grab a quartet of friends and head down to Battery Park City to make some beautiful music together! Todays weather is perfect for swinging!
