Last week we experienced a wonderful WHC tour of the KVK and Newark Bay on a NY Waterway. The weather Gods cooperated with great weather and “Kodachrome” light for photography.

Here’s highlights of the trip.

My office is iced over so I have to go elsewhere to photograph. This weeks photos were taken from the SI Ferry.

The Staten Island Ferry terminal, St George waiting room, now has a large screen monitor showing AIS ship movement in the Upper Bay and KVK. This information is also available on a Smart Phone app, look for “Marine Traffic Apps” at marinetraffic.com for the computer.

Until next week… John Skelson
